Coughlan Engineering (Tullamore) Ltd. is one of the largest manufacturers and installers of custom architectural metalwork in Ireland. Our is CE certified to EN 1090 Execution Class 2 in the EU and United Kingdom.

We produce structural line load calculations or work to the specifications of the client’s design team. We survey in person, model in SolidWorks, can work within the client’s BIM environment, and always produce General Arrangement drawings for approval before producing shop drawings. Our design work is covered by professional indemnity insurance and we can cooperate with clients on signing of collateral warranties.

At our production facility, we isolate mild steel and stainless steel fabrication in separate workshops to prevent contamination and use the very latest techniques including 5-axis waterjet cutting, CNC bending of plate and pipe, polishing and passivating. We sub-contract surface treatments including shot blasting, galvanising, painting and powder coating to our trusted network of expert partners to ensure the best finish and compliance with the relevant standards.

On completion of your architectural metalwork project, your handover pack will include our CE certificate, declaration of performance, BCAR certificates, as-built drawings, non-destructive test reports, mill certificates for parent material and O&M manual, as appropriate to the agreed scope of works.
